What Should We Do when Contact with Patients
As we all know, the SARS-like pandemic has been a global event. Positive measures shall be taken to prevent such thing in various aspects. Here comes a question, what should we do when contact with those patients and suspected ones? Let’s have a brief introduction to this.
When we are likely to contact those patients
First of all, those who have contacted with suspected or confirmed cases should have a 14-day medical observation, from the last day the contact occurs. If fever, cough, breath shortness, diarrhea and other respiratory symptoms occurred, please see for medical help.
Once the above-mentioned symptoms come, we should provide our travel tracks to the medical personnel so as to ensure the safety of those who have contacted with us.
Secondly, wear a surgical mask and avoid taking public transportation when going to hospital. By private vehicles or other individual transportation instead.
Thirdly, keep hygiene and washing hands properly all the day and far away from other people.
When we have contacted those patients
Firstly, seek for medical help as soon as possible. Call for medical service, or go to the hospital personally. Pay attention that not to contact others as far as we can.
Next, tell the medical professionals where we have been and who have contacted recently, more details are better.
Then it comes to do a medical test, to confirm whether we are infected or not. Keep personal hygiene at all time and waiting for the result patiently.
